The first steps in Lima
I met Carlos Bernales at the YWAM Bible School in Colombia. He told me about Estación Esperanza. I was immediately interested in this project because their vision of “sharing hope” coincides with mine. I have a heart for the disadvantaged and want to work for the weak and vulnerable.
After some conversations with Miriam and Carlos, it was clear to me that I would like to work with them. I can very well combine the five-year online training as a teacher with the work at Estación Esperanza. Now I have been working and living with Miriam and Carlos since January 2016. I like it very much and I am happy that I will certainly work in Ventanilla for the next five years and that I will be able to accompany the foster children of Miriam and Carlos.
